Mobile, Alabama Wedding June 9th, 2018
Victoria and Jacob are one of the sweetest couples that I have had the pleasure of working with. Their love for each other shows greatly and seeing them together I couldn’t help but keep a smile on my face the entire day. We started the day with Victoria and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done. Bridget Daughdrill Byrd of Studio 4 and Adrianna Byrd of Bliss Salon did a beautiful job on their hair! Once their hair and make up was finished we headed over to the ceremony and reception venue the Richard DAR house. The house is in Downtown Mobile, Alabama and is gorgeous. This was my first event at this location and I can’t wait to do more. The courtyards and house itself offer so many locations for different photos and looks. The ceremony was held on the lawn next to the house. Beautiful music by Kathleen Alkema was played on the violin and was perfect for this venue and couple. After the ceremony the reception was held in the courtyard at the back of the house. Catering was by Chef Rob and the Cakes were by Pollman’s Bakery. The grooms cake was so unique with a fire truck on top. Jacob is a fireman for the city of a Bayou La Batre. One of my favorite posed photos from the wedding is him and his groomsmen in their firemen helmets. The reception was so much fun! I think everyone danced and had a great time celebrating the love between Jacob and Victoria. When it was time to leave Jacob and Victoria walked through a tunnel of their family and friends holding sparklers, pausing for one last kiss before driving off.
I had so much fun photographing your wedding and I thank you so much for asking me to be a part of it. Both myself and the second shooters (Justine of Justine Danielle Photography and Morgan of Shipman Photography) loved working with you, your bridal party and your family and friends and we wish you nothing but love and happiness in the future.
Wedding in Grand Bay, Alabama on April 14th, 2018.
Marisa and Ivo’s wedding was a beautiful ceremony, surrounded by loved ones at the beautiful Elizabeth in Grand Bay. The cake was made by Taylor Made Bakery and careering by Tyner’s and both the food and cake tasted just as delicious as it looked. Their reception was one of the best I have been too! The dancing, fun, and laughter was had by all! Their sparkler exit was a rainy one but was still amazing. I had so much fun working with Marisa, Ivo, their bridal party, and their families. Their love for each other shows and I wish them an infinite amount of years of happiness!
Leeza and Chad’s wedding day was one where Mother Nature wished them the best of luck. It is said that rain on your wedding day is good luck and there was definitely tons of it on their day. So much in fact, that during their couples portraits I was wading ankle deep in a puddle.
The Colliers were married at The First Baptist Church in Bayou La Batre located in south Mobile County. My grandparents have been members of that church long before I was born so it’s always special when I’m able to shoot or attend an event there. Their wedding was the first time I had seen a unity cross assembled during a ceremony and it was very special to watch. Their reception followed at The Oddfellows Lodge in Irvington. It isn’t a southern wedding without gumbo. Some of the best food you will ever eat is at a southern wedding with amazing cooks preparing delicious southern staples. As the reception was ending Leeza and Chad ran to their car through a pathway lined with their loved ones as they tossed bird seed in the air.
Congratulations!! I wish you both nothing but the best and many, many years of love and happiness.
Is there truely anything more perfect than dancing to a song as the sun sets as the stars start coming out, feeling the sand beneath your toes, hearing the waves crashing the beach, smelling the salty air and looking into the eyes of someone you love. If I had to describe a perfect first dance that would be it, and that would be Alex and Diane’s first dance.
Diane and Alex were Married in March on the beach on Dauphin Island. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception with lots of family and friends attending. This is one of the sweetest couples I have worked with and I wish them infinite years of happiness together. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day...
Wedding Photography in Point Clear, Alabama - Mobile, AL Photographer
The wedding of Samantha and Graham was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony and reception was held at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear, Alabama. The location was amazing. The greens of the trees, the water, and pops of brown and orange from fall colors was the perfect backdrop for their Christmas inspired wedding colors.
Kendra Lee Event and Wedding Planning did a beautiful job with all of the details of this wedding. The cake table was my favorite that I’ve seen so far at a wedding. The gift box design of the cake with the flowers from the bridesmaids at the base .
I want to wish this couple many, many years of happiness and love as you grow together as husband and wife. Thank you so much to Samantha and Graham for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day. I have enjoyed getting to know you both through this adventure with you to becoming newlyweds.
"I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old. Just say you won't let go...."
The song "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur played as Kayla & Kelli met on the dance floor for their first dance together as a married couple.
Kayla & Kelli along with their wedding party were a fun group to work with. From the couple's engagement session to the wedding it's been a joy working with these two and their friends and families. The love that these two have for each other can been seen in how they look at each other and laugh together.
Their wedding was amazing! Their ceremony was held under a canopy of trees at the beautiful The Heritage Social Event House and Gardens in Saraland, Alabama. They each wrote their own vows and both choked up a little as they said them. The best man and a bridesmaid held hands and fought back tears as the couple exchanged rings.
The dinner was a delicious buffet of bbq pulled pork, mac & cheese, and baked beans. The cupcakes from Simply Sweet Cupcake Boutique in Mobile, Alabama were delicious as well. I particularly enjoyed the banana pudding stuffed cupcake. Seeing your grandparents out on the dance floor dancing and smiling as well as the rest of your family was a joy to see.
When it was time to leave Kayle & Kelli ran through a sparkler filled walkway to their vehicle. Smoke filled the air as everyone said their goodbyes.
Kayla & Kelli, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. I had a blast with your wedding party as well as you both. Your love for each other shows not only with each other but through your family and friends as well. I wish you both the very best in life and infinite years of happiness together.
Surprise! When Tiffanie emailed me and asked me to be their photographer for today I was thrilled. They are from Nashville, Tennessee and came into town for an elopement ceremony and then to set sail on a cruise out of the Port of Mobile. I love seeing two people who love each other committing the rest of their lives to each other. The way that Tiffanie and Caymen treat each other it's easy to see that they are meant for each other.
We met in Honor Park in Semmes, Alabama this morning, July 10th, 2017. The officiant walked them to a beautiful path in the center of the park. Surrounded by roses and birds chirping in the distance they both intimately said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed their love with a kiss.
We then went to Bienville Square in Downtown Mobile where the cruise ship was docked nearby and took photos of the two before they departed. It was definitely a day filled with laughter and love.
Tiffanie and Caymen, I had a great time spending the day with you, laughing and celebrating your marriage. I wish you a safe trip on your cruise and many years of happiness together as husband and wife. Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.
"Has anybody ever told you, they'd be lucky just to hold you".......
The song "Has Anybody Ever Told You" by Ashley Monroe played as Casey and Kolby met on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. As they swayed side by side sharing laughs in their musical embrace their family and friends watch, some with happy tears.
Casey and Kolby along with their wedding party were an absolute joy to work with. From the couple's engagement session to the bride's bridals photos it's been a joy working with these two and their friends and families. The love that these two have for each other can been seen in how they look at each other and laugh together.
Their wedding was absolutely beautiful! They said their vows at Crawford Baptist Church in Semmes, AL. The church was filled with family and friends as they both said "I Do". The reception followed the ceremony at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, AL.
When it came time to leave Casey and Kolby made their way through their friends and a bath of bird seed to a decorated golf cart just for them. They made a grand exit for what was a grand wedding.
Casey and Kolby, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day. It was such a joy to photography a wedding where so much love is present not only between the couple but also between their family and friends. You truly had a dream team of collaborators working on your wedding and everything was beautiful. Congratulations to you both and I wish you many years of happiness together.
