Kayla & Kelli | Wedding Photography | Mobile, Alabama

"I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old. Just say you won't let go...."

The song "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur played as Kayla & Kelli met on the dance floor for their first dance together as a married couple.

Kayla & Kelli along with their wedding party were a fun group to work with. From the couple's engagement session to the wedding it's been a joy working with these two and their friends and families. The love that these two have for each other can been seen in how they look at each other and laugh together.

Their wedding was amazing! Their ceremony was held under a canopy of trees at the beautiful The Heritage Social Event House and Gardens in Saraland, Alabama. They each wrote their own vows and both choked up a little as they said them. The best man and a bridesmaid held hands and fought back tears as the couple exchanged rings.

The dinner was a delicious buffet of bbq pulled pork, mac & cheese, and baked beans. The cupcakes from Simply Sweet Cupcake Boutique in Mobile, Alabama were delicious as well. I particularly enjoyed the banana pudding stuffed cupcake. Seeing your grandparents out on the dance floor dancing and smiling as well as the rest of your family was a joy to see.

When it was time to leave Kayle & Kelli ran through a sparkler filled walkway to their vehicle. Smoke filled the air as everyone said their goodbyes.

Kayla & Kelli, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. I had a blast with your wedding party as well as you both. Your love for each other shows not only with each other but through your family and friends as well. I wish you both the very best in life and infinite years of happiness together.

Samantha & Graham | Engagement Photography | Fairhope, Alabama

Summertime Engagement Session at the Fairhope Pier.

I absolutely love engagement sessions. Getting to shoot couples who are not only excited about their new journeys in life that they will be taking together but also excited aboutplanning a wedding to celebrate their love for each other.  Engagement photos gives me a chance to get to know and work with couples in a more relaxed setting before their wedding. Plus, we get to spend time outdoors in nature! Samantha and Graham wanted a summertime engagement photo session at the Fairhope Pier, in Fairhope, Alabama for their location. As someone who grew up near the water I always love it when clients choose a location with beautiful sunsets and amazing landscapes.

This park is full of scenic overlooks and paths through the trees. There is a beach with piers for fishing and swimming. It even has a long pier with a restaurant in the middle!  Samantha & Graham were complete naturals in front of the camera. They were full of laughter and had trouble keeping a straight face for "serious" poses. I always love couples like this because its easy to show their personalities with each other and it allows them to be comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera.

The way that Graham looks at Samantha and the connection that you can see and feel through these photos has me absolutely swooning over the session! I loved working with both of youand had a blast shooting your session.

I am already looking forward to spending more time with these two on their wedding day at the beautiful Grand Hotel this December in Point Clear, Alabama. Scroll down to see more of my favorites from the Fairhope engagement photos from this shoot and feel free to leave a congratulations for the happy couple.

Tiffanie & Caymen | Wedding Photography | Mobile, Alabama

Surprise! When Tiffanie emailed me and asked me to be their photographer for today I was thrilled. They are from Nashville, Tennessee and came into town for an elopement ceremony and then to set sail on a cruise out of the Port of Mobile. I love seeing two people who love each other committing the rest of their lives to each other. The way that Tiffanie and Caymen treat each other it's easy to see that they are meant for each other.

We met in Honor Park in Semmes, Alabama this morning, July 10th, 2017. The officiant walked them to a beautiful path in the center of the park. Surrounded by roses and birds chirping in the distance they both intimately said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed their love with a kiss.

We then went to Bienville Square in Downtown Mobile where the cruise ship was docked nearby and took photos of the two before they departed. It was definitely a day filled with laughter and love.

Tiffanie and Caymen, I had a great time spending the day with you, laughing and celebrating your marriage. I wish you a safe trip on your cruise and many years of happiness together as husband and wife. Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.

Casey & Kolby Watts | Wedding Photography | Mobile, AL

"Has anybody ever told you, they'd be lucky just to hold you".......

The song "Has Anybody Ever Told You" by Ashley Monroe played as Casey and Kolby met on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. As they swayed side by side sharing laughs in their musical embrace their family and friends watch, some with happy tears.

Casey and Kolby along with their wedding party were an absolute joy to work with. From the couple's engagement session to the bride's bridals photos it's been a joy working with these two and their friends and families. The love that these two have for each other can been seen in how they look at each other and laugh together.

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful! They said their vows at Crawford Baptist Church in Semmes, AL. The church was filled with family and friends as they both said "I Do". The reception followed the ceremony at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, AL.

When it came time to leave Casey and Kolby made their way through their friends and a bath of bird seed to a decorated golf cart just for them. They made a grand exit for what was a grand wedding.

Casey and Kolby, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day. It was such a joy to photography a wedding where so much love is present not only between the couple but also between their family and friends. You truly had a dream team of collaborators working on your wedding and everything was beautiful. Congratulations to you both and I wish you many years of happiness together.
